My guess as to the paint code is that we here in the US don't have all the data on Ford's overseas ventures. I have seen in Aircraft Spruce and at the local aircraft parts store here in Houston some flexible paint that is used to protect the nose cone and the like from dings. I would suppose it is flexible and bouncy. Perhaps that's the ticket?
