| Re: What\'s the best way to wash a GT40? I dust the car with a regular car duster if the car isn't to muddy then I use a very wet terry towel from a bucket of water to loosen the dirt, followed by a second cleaning using a wet towel form the bucket. Follow this up with a couple of wipe downs using clean damp towels and you have a clean car and have only used a couple of buckets of water. Finish it off with a wipe down using "Quick Detailer" and your car should look great - no flooding with the hose and you are done in 20 minutes or so. You need a good base coat of wax going in. I like Mequires for polymer finishes and it is easy to use a couple of times a year. I keep the car dusted regularly if the car cover is not on the car and I clean it after every track event so the grunge doesn't build up. |
