| Re: My GTD is for sale Rick
First and foremost I sincerely want to thank you for the warm welcome and hospitality you and your beautiful wife extended to me. I was most appreciative for the time you spent answering all my questions and showing all the backup documentation regarding the GT40.
To All,
Anyone interested in this car, don’t miss the opportunity. This car, as mentioned above, only needs a competent driver to fill the shoes of the original owner. Rick obviously has painstakingly taken in account every detail in assembling this car. Till now I thought I was anal about detail, Rick has given me something to shoot for (Rick, I mean that as a compliment ).
Dollar for dollar, hp for hp, thrill for thrill – this car has it For someone wanting to step into a well maintained, documented and ‘turn key’ set up, you’d have to look far and wide to come across another. Undoubtedly a fair bargain and definitely no compromises were made in the assembly of this car.
I was certainly serious about purchasing this car (red eye flight from California to Virgina Beach and back in 20 hours) and in viewing first hand it truly is well represented by all discussions with Rick and here on this site. I left totally torn between snapping it up or leaving it for another to buy. Until analyzing my decision not to buy I was bewildered and second guessing my reasoning. The long and short of it is, in the event of purchasing Rick’s car I will be putting my current GT40 up for sale and therein lies my dilemma. Unbeknownst until this situation, I can’t seem to part with my current car.
So, your all lucky it’s still on the market! Although I am prodding one of my friends to buy it so it ends up in my neighborhood |
