Even though this is a "new" car, you may want to contact Grundy regarding an agreed value policy (actually you can get an immediate quote on their website:
www.grundy.com). I did this recently with a "new" hobby car we bought, a 2004 Mach 1, and it did save me quite a bit of money over State Farm. You cannot however, drive it to work every single day (although there is unlimited milage).
The only thing to note is if you carry an umbrella personal liability policy, some insurers will charge an additional fee for cars you own that they don't directly insure. Even so, it was still cheaper than insuring with State Farm. Let's hope the service is equally good if it is ever required!
