I'm not sure if there's any bad blood here but on the surface that (and the rest) seemed a bit of an over-reaction...
Calling a GT40 a "sedate armchair" on a GT40 forum seems like a fairly provocative thing to do (although I'm sure most of us will take it on the chin). Surely Paul's reply was thrown in as tongue in cheek and I'd have thought it fair enough in the above context.
