Has anyone had a look at the new AutoWeek magazine? It has a long (for AutoWeek) article on P1040, the original owner, and the Sbarro "recreation" that showed up at the Paris auction recently. It has long been known that Sbarro has had a shady past, but this seems to put it flatly out in the open and is fairly condeming. I've heard this isn't the only GT40 he's done this with, and, other cars such as Lolas are heavily affected too. I'll see if I can round up that article on line.

Sorry to bring this back up, I think it was mentioned on another thread (the auction) but not the article. The article has pictures of a Sbarro chassis and a couple of original chassis to show detail differences.
