Both are beautiful cars but the chassis of the cars are completely different actually. You can find numerous pictures on the site of either chassis, but in short the CAV is a stainless steel mono of their own design that closely resembles that of a GTD space frame chassis if it were converted to a mono. The SPF car is a steel mono chassis that is reported to be as close to as an original as has been built to date for serial production in large numbers. It is the only car available right now that has a steel roof as the originals, if originality is a priority.

As to which one is better or which one you should buy, I doubt you'll get a straight answer to that. There are fans of both cars on the forum, although the SPF hasn't been delivered to forum members yet there are a couple that are very close. There are lots of CAVs in the hands of owners, both mono and space frame versions.

In any event, you'll get a lot of good information I think.

Best,
Ron
