The closest I have ever came to owning a Lola T-70 was a slot car I raced back in the mid-70's. I remember winning alot of races with that car. I started to type this...and I couldn't stand it, I had to dig around a little bit to find my old slot car box that I kept all my stuff in. Opened it up, and low and behold, its still there. It is a scratch built frame I hand crafted, and a split green and white paint job at 45 degree angle from the R/F to the L/R. I have not looked at this stuff in I bet 30+ years. What memories!

Seeing the pictures you posted is a flashback in time. Thanks for your pics and information! To be honest, I think the red spyder is in a little bit better shape than my T-70. You know how paint goes to hell after 30 years of aging!
