I'll second Howard's recommendation. I use Evercoat Vette panel adhesive/filler for non-structural leveling. Gorilla hair and similar long fiber products are fine, but I think they are even harder sanding and still usually require a skim coat of body filler. Neither should be used to fill panel gaps though.
