You just have to wonder what would have been the outcome if one of those teachers had had a 9mm in his desk. Maybe, just maybe, a couple of shots back at em and the resulting delay in the goofs agenda might have given the cops a chance to respond.

Pistols are VERY difficult to hit anything with. I shot on the US Coast Guard Pistol team in the 70's as a alternate member and am a VERY good pistol shot. Or was anyway. It's hard enough for most people to hit the whole damn paper at 25 meters at a controlled target range without repeated practice let alone moving targets that are shooting back. This guy fired over 100 rounds inside a locked building and was able to kill 30 odd people. They had to have been hiding under desks and the like. Sitting ducks. With a few rounds wissing past the goofs head he might have been a little distracted don't you think.

That teacher could have waited until the perp turned his back and put 3 rounds right in the middle of his back from a rest off his desk. Might have saved a few lives.

God damn loonies, Thank god he didn't drive his pickup down the sidewalk at 80MPH. Could have been a lot worse.

I hope somebody doesnt take what I have said the wrong way. It makes my guts turn over thinking about all those poor kids. But crazies are gonna find a way, guns or no guns. Guns give the normal prepared people a fighting chance. I say pass a nation wide concealed carry law and arm us all.

People will be a lot more polite. Oh and the goofs wont get a 100 rounds off either.
