Ian, you don't need to wait any longer. Hersch has been posting recently. Go to his profile and bring up his recent posts--you'll see.
I am glad to see some of those who left return. Lynn was gone for quite a while and what an incredibly knowlegable person he is--we're so lucky in many ways that he's returned. He has compiled a list of resources that is awesome. Hersch's technical expertise has been sorely missed, and once again I must say I'm so glad to see him posting again.
Sometimes "Time heals all wounds", as they say. Welcome back to those who left and decided to come back--we've missed you.
