| SPF - the cars leak in the rain
I thought I would follow up on this discussion from a while back. I had my car parked in the rain today (I couldn't move it because the alternator died - see another thread on that issue). I closed the car while it rained moderately for about 10-15 minutes. I could see water getting into the cockpit are via the top of the doors. I also had water enter through the top of the side window seams (there is no seal there - just the plastic window against the door).
Someone once asked if the car could be driven in the rain....probably so, but you would be getting some nice drippage on your head and down your back.
