The chrome sebring mirrors I have are metal bodied, and are labeled 'Sebring mach 1'
I've enclosed a pic of a sebring mirror at the Stanguellini museum in Modena, which also looks to be metal bodied. I believe there is also a plastic bodied sebring mirror available as detailed here

The mirrors I have fitted to my car are metal bodied & I chose them mainly because of the black finish, but also they have a *slightly* larger lense.
