My collection is similar in theme. Instead of the Cobra roadster, I'm having assembled a Lister-Corvette. Instead of the GT-40, I'm having assembled a Lola T70 Coupe. I think of the Lister-Corvette as a Cobra Roadster prototype. Caroll Shelby was a North American distributor for Lister before putting together the Cobra. The GT-40 project provided Eric Broadley the money and facilities to build the T70. |
