Mike, while I have no first hand experience with this ECU, I've looked at it previously for another V8 application and can tell you that it's being sold under at least three different names by three different organisations worldwide, so it's a pretty versatile box and it's gained a lot of exposure with some diverse applications:

The Audi hotrodding crowd know it as the 034EFI ECU
EMS in Oz sell it as the EMS8860
Redline/Weber sell it as the 422/822

If you do a Google on any of these models, you'll find distributors and user forums with lots of info about this EMS.

What I like about it is that it has 8 ignition outputs and 8 injector outputs. No waste spark, nor batch firing of injectors. So, on paper anyway, it offers a lot of bang for the buck.
