You gonna use a gas turbine to power the beast as well? There are a few options there as far as drivetrain, and the coolest part is they'll run on just about any flammable liquid from ethanol to diesel to propane. Talk about an eco-friendly monstrosity!! I know Marine Turbine Technologies used a GM 700R4 in their turbine truck (
MTT - Retrorocket, the Turbine powered Chevy S-10 Pick-up) and it's got all the creature comforts like power steering, cruise, a/c. Haha You could just go direct drive though with some sort of torque converter to allow it to freespin while at a stand still. I dunno, just off the wall suggestions.
