According to "Spains" book, 1101-1107 were completed cars.

With 1108 & 1109 being bare chassis....which are now completed cars...and 1110 being a replacement chassis made for 1012, and 1111 & 1112 & 1113 being bare chassis, also now being completed cars, with 1114 being the last MkIII chassis made, but it was delivered as a "kit of chassis parts", which shows P1046 as the most current chassis plate being displayed for the 1114 tub/car.

So I guess, that means there are 7 original completed MkIII Gt40s, with more tubs being completed into complete cars.

I am NOT an expert about these statistics, only sharing what Ronnie Spain has printed in his book. Hope that helps

1108 has been completed as a race car and 1101 has been completely converted recently which would not have been a cheap job which would suggest a price for this Mk 3 of around EUR one million perhaps ?

Does anyone recognise the red car ?

The red car looks to be P1085A built around a Sbarro chassis. It is described on page 108 of John S. Allen's book, "GT40, The Legend Lives On".
