I doubt I would be able to to drive the 40 over a mid lift system not enough clearance. I suspect the attraction to most of us is the ability to lift our cars for servicing without to much bending and crawling on hands and knees (getting to old for that!) Additionally the 4 post type lift system would provide the potential for parking underneath the lift for another car where space is at a premium. Fully appreciate that for some height is the issue which would need to be addressed with a 4 post lift system. The system that I am interested in is
