It will probably be re-run... as I watched, I realized that I think I had seen a bit of it before.
It was coverage of the 3rd RennSport Reunion, where a stupendous collection of cars and many past and current P-heros were in attendance. Good LeMans footage I had not seen before of the Gulf GT40 passing the P... and many interviews, both with drivers and Porsche engineers. It was a nice encapsulated history lesson for those of us not at all familiar with the wonders from Weissach!
It sure got me browsing Fran's 917 page for about the thousandth time. I wonder if his website experienced a surge as that program was airing?
