Hi Veek,

The black molded splash guards are either riveted or bolted in place. No biggy, but they do have to come off to remove the sway bar, fortunately the side panels of the rad cradle can remain.

What's your thinking on the sway bar? There are two different widths of bar supplied on the early CAV GTs. Also some were assembled with the wide bar on connecting above the lower control arm instead of below. The wide bar works fine in the correct position after the corner bend is tightened up to reduce the overall width.

This is not a common issue however I have seen it twice before and had another call on the tech line for the same thing. Let me know if this is what you're dealing with as it's easy enough to verify the dimensions.
