WRT Vintage pin drives, contact Lim for his experiences. We have had issues with Vintage and PSE wheels.
Maybe we are just too fussy and have unrealistic expectations of factory tolerances? Maybe Vintage and PSE are no better or no worse than the others?
How many people actually have the inclination and the equipment to accurately check the machining before fitting their wheels? Most people I suspect just put them on, and if they fit, they fit! Lim wound up remachining all our wheels to obtain tolerances that we found acceptable. |
