Just got back early this morning after a mind blowing weekend at LMC 2012.
A absolutely splendid turn out of original GT40s participated as well as a record breaking number of superb replicas attended within the Ford paddock so, despite the extremely changeable weather, the whole weekend was just fantastic for all the spectators.
P1016 sadly suffered a smashed transmission on Friday night so had to rapidly switch to its spare T44 before the racing started.
Mike Teske was their with one of his beautiful MkIV's on display and in the Shelby track parade.
P1047 was also on display in the centre of the Race Village after its unbelievably beautiful restoration and carrying 'No5' roundels.
Original GT40s participating were:
Plateau 4 (1962-1965):-
1022 1062
1009 1012MkII
1079 1005
1018 1042
1040 1085A
P1025 "TES1E"
GT111 (roadster)
Plateau 5 (1966-1971):-
1016 MkII (Claude Nahum)
1040
1080 (Maxted Page)
1085A
1089 (Chris Ball)
