well done on your carbon chassis project!
i know the challenges first hand.
is it a Pre preg carbon fibre that you used?
And what weight saving did you achieve versus a standard steel chassis?
did you use any anti splittering kevar in the structure?

A recently completed Tornado TSC GT40 with a Carbon Fibre Monocoque chassis by forum member Abraham Brisco and now IVA approved.
Build time was approx 12 months using a Super Pro Package with all parts supplied.
Specification includes Coyote engine, Gulf rear arches with 12" wide rear wheels, A/C, Alloy shocks, Alloy rear uprights and glass rear windows plus lots more.
Car has now gone to paint and no doubt Abraham will post some pictures on his build thread when its finally done.
Almost complete & outside in daylight, at ride height for the first time. The sponson covers, roll bar and access panels are next. Mores pictures as the work continues.
Hi Andy,
I just read through the thread, a ways back you mentioned that a carbon chassis single seater and sports racer were in the works, pretty cool. Did those make it to market?
