I want Frans Manx ( badly) A lady that runs Fareham elctro plating in the UK has her deceased husbands collection of these. I think there are five of them and they all have racing history. They are with a museum for safe keeping.

I've ridden bikes since I was 15 which is a bloody long time ago, since then only ten years have gone when I didn't own a bike of some kind, the two I regret selling the most was a Vincent black shadow and an Ariel square four. Today I ride a HD 2003 100 year anniversary
Softtail, prior to that a Honda 1000, VTR, but I was definately going to kill myself on that. Old and slow reflexes if you know what I mean. I really enjoyed the VTR, not as much the Harley, but there you go.

Ex Norton and Triumph in my youth, an NSU Auto-roller when I lived in Gutersloh in Germany (even younger) and lastly the Ducati 999. That was sold to a friend in Germany who has now mounted on the wall in his lounge.
My next will be another Ducati R model or I will have to go over to Germany and take it out on Marcus's 996. I think he would never forgive me.
Max speed on the 999 was 163 mph (from the GPS) and it still had some in reserve.

Hi All

Back in 1975 I bought a brand new Honda CB750 four.

This was the first of the original superbikes which was then followed by the BSA rocket 3, Triumph trident 3, Kawasaki 900, etc, etc.

I still have and ride that very same bike and it has 40,000 Km's on the clock and is still in the original showroom condition with the original four exhaust pipes, seat and the optional front and rear roll bars.

That was the posh "Captains Chair" version.

Made in Israel and very powerful with a 40 mile range.

This is mine. Note 'wheelie bars'

These are different bikes Ive built with my Triumph 500 cc 1972 engine. That I have owned for 23 yrs. The First bike I put the engine into was a AJS Stormer frame. I raced it in the pre 1974 class

last scan 9.jpg 10.jpg 29.jpg

I then modified it and made it into a long travel motocrosser

The center of gravity was a bit too high, So I made a new frame, swining arm, tank seat etc, and raced it in the over 40s Twin shock class. At one race meeting I was given an award for the best sounding bike.......

I was a triumph fan for years, I had a 3ta,5ta,6ta,t100,t120r and white saint .
One that I always wanted was a Cheney frame with a Triumph engine, a bit like the trophy but much nicer.

For sure:

Both sides of the spectrum BMW k1100lt and Harley Road King. A Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport as well! Love 'em , but I worry. Hit a deer last night in my Mini Cooper....

Favorite is the Beemer!

Harley is a 57 Chevy looks great, but...
Beemer is a 911
