Keith,
Your machine :
Get rid of the ape hangers and mount some Clip Ons on the front forks,
Put some rear sets somewhere just forward of the rear axel, get a tape recording of EJ Potter on his bike at Santa Pod and install a huge sound system. Then install twin horns like the big trucks and coastal going tugs use. Watch your street cred soar , innit.

Just an attempt to revive this thread...

I've had many bikes in my lifetime. Al of them were a lot of fun. My current one is a Triumph Speed Triple. Its probably too fast for a old guy. I hope my gt40 will be as fast when its done. Maybe in one year +.

A recent offer got me off the sidelines to ride this beautiful 1980's TZ750 at Phillip Island in the International Team Challenge. Three things off the bucket list - Australia, ride Phillip Island and ride a TZ750. All in one shot. I now have a new favorite track.

The scariest ride of my life was on a road legal TZ750. My brother is a bike nut, he turned up on the beast and let me run it down the road. No speedo fitted, just the rev counter , I am not the bravest of bike riders and it is far more bike than I have the bottle for

Kenny Roberts TZ 750 Flat Tracker...

It had 125 hp and could reach almost 150 mph at the end of the straights

Kenny said "Thay dont pay me enough to ride that thing"

It won its first race by a bikes length. It was never raced again, and was later banned

Keith, you need some BRMs and Knock-offs on that scooter! Maybe a gulf livery paint job!

The rain has stopped and it looks like bike weather so its out with the Harley and blow the dust off.

And see if i can extend the mileage  Pathetic 853 miles since 1996. Its still under warranty :)

Ya know, Bob, they make covers for Harleys (et al)! :D

Think of all the extra elbo grease you could have saved had you employed one!

Yep, we saw the big yellow thing in the sky today - amazing!!

So....out with the bikes! Tammy's first run on her new speed Triple. Down to Goodwood for breakfast, joined by a friend on his Triumph too. Luverley Juberley!

Three Speed Triples all in a row!

Yep - still riding my 07 GSX1400... :)

and picked up a pair of Yoshi ST1 Cams over Xmas so just need to fit them now. ;)

Tried a friend's CBX1000 recently too - very smooth but felt very dated in the handling dept. Rear tyre seems tiny now in comparison with modern rides.

Raced 24H all over Europe back in the 70ties for 10 years.
Mainly Honday racing (ex factory) and 750.

After owned some Ducati's 916 and 999 and now have my second MV Agusta 1000.
It is fascinating bike and a Motor Art piece.
