More Global Cooling/Warming/Change hoax.

Did you actually read the articles you linked to Al?

They seem to be looking for a way to properly assign a value to natural perturbations due to the sun so that those can be separated from perturbations caused by mankind. Some of the articles even appear to directly contradict your stance.

Here's a direct quote from one of them...

"Thus, although fluctuations in the amount of solar energy reaching our atmosphere do influence our climate, the global warming trend of the past six decades cannot be attributed to changes in the sun."

While I did not scrutinize each one, the gist was that the sun greatly affects the earths heating and cooling. It's a lot more factual than the mumbo jumbo put forth to support global warming/climate change.

The "wobbling" of the Earth's axis (changes + & - back and forth in the 'angle' of the axis) plays no small part in the degree to which sun cycles/activity affects the Earth's temps. It doesn't take a 'climate scientist' to figure out what happens when the angle of the Earth's axis tilts the North Pole toward the sun as opposed to tilting it away.

Of course, 'alarmists' will instantly dismiss that factor, too.

Mr. Obama and our newest Prime Minister are in Paris discussing Climate change with the rest of the U.N. Surrounded by Police and Troops protecting them from the real problem we face...Wankers.

The guy certainly dispels some of the myths but what both sides of the fence are unanimous about is pollution and its affects on just about everything in our world. If a reduction in world pollution is the final outcome its worth the $$$$$$.

Ultimately, the world's problems stem from one thing...too many people. Unfortunately, every economic model that provides "economic growth," depends on human growth. It is no longer reasonable to assume economic growth will always be several points positive for every year until eternity. The planet will take our emissions only up to a point, then they become toxic due to the shear volume of those emissions (liquid, gas, or solid). We've obviously reached that point.

I have always advocated doing as much as possible to stop pollution, however CO2 is not a pollutant, but is essential to life.

If only it was just Co2 Pete, this is only one of the very tame gases produced from burning fossil fuels. Have some sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, particulate matter, VOC`s a bit of bezene and top it up with some metals. Yuk

Agreed but CO2 is always quoted by warmist's as being the big baddie and its BS.

The CO2 rates in the atmosphere have varied, ranging from as high as 7,000 parts per million during the Cambrian period about 500 million years ago to as low as 180 parts per million during the Quaternary glaciation of the last two million years. It is at about 390 ppm now. If it went up to 7000 ppm and down to 180 ppm without the help of cars, factories, or people, I think with a little common sense we can survive. China and India need to get their act together. With all these leaders of countries at summits (you would have thought there would be an eradicate ISIS summit), kind of makes you wonder what's in it for them. There are a lot more threatening things happening in this world, but they don't generate money.

Come on Al, climate change is a much bigger threat than Isis, in fact it's the biggest threat facing mankind, your President said so. $$$$$ would have nothing to do with it......would they?
