Hi Brian,

it is only now that I heard about the horrible accident. I hope that Pam is much much better now.

In Turkish we say let it be past wishing you and her to leave it in the past.

Please convey here my best wishes for a complete recovery.

For what it's worth...

I will be at Classic Lemans, but sans GT40.
It has to stay home in Texas.

My son-in-law will be driving his Chevron B16.
This is the same car that was featured in the movie 'Lemans'.
It's going back after running in the 1970 race.

You can't miss it. Red #44.
Same livery as it ran then.

I'll wander around and see if I can find you guys.

Later,
Kirby

Hi All,

Pam would like to thank all the people who have sent her good wishes on the forum, with flowers and with cards. She is recovering well and hopes to thank a lot of you personally in the not too distant future.

Brian.

Hi all,

Great edition this year, no rain very hot weather and many superb and unique cars.

Many GT40, on the GT40 Enthusiast Club, or here and there waiting under the sun ... !

Fine races and some "Le Mans Style" starts... some emotions, and many many other cars to admire, things to see or to do, and nice people to talk with...

Well, it's been a 2000km round trip in 3 days and 25H behind the wheel, mainly under 35°C on the road (with no AC !) but it worthed it !

Thank you for posting the great pictures Pierre-Louis. You deserve a medal for driving that far in your 40 without A/C in that kind of heat! Unsure I could have done it as living in Florida makes it a must and I've gotten so used to that cool air keeping me happy!
