289 weber intake question

So unless I plan on full out racing or am building a blueprint correct replica the single outlet intake is fine. All good info gents! I appreciate the posts.

Highly recommend the manifold with the single outlet and thermostat for a road car - keeps it simple.

Confirmed, IDA manifold does not fit IDF. For your 289, I'd recommend the 44 IDF's. As was said earlier, these are a bit simpler than the IDA's. You can choke them down (or up) as much as you want with the right chokes, and tune the mixture between idle, part throttle and WOT using jetting adjustments. Get a selection of jets, and make sure you're starting with a matched set of 44IDF's. "Matched set" means they have the same progression holes drilled in the bore. You'll know they're matched because the holes will be the same, and the sub-numbering of the IDF will all be the same.
