Assembling a Monocoque

I have started to produce some outer stub axles and the flywheel. It is lots of programming to do before the machines can do the job. But it started well in the lathe. I will use 930 CV joints in both end now to start with, and might change to donut later.
My work now is sanding sanding sanding all day long.

Finaly I got my radiator, it is the closest you can get to the original without the Marston stamped on. It fit 100% in the car. It is made from old drawings. I'm happy that these good people did a excellent job on this semi original rad.

I do not trust the old mecanical speedo cables , so I changed to a digital instrument, and made my own pickup for the sensor.

A long time since I posted here, but I have worked on the car almost every day , and now it goes to the painter, his price will ruin me, but then he give a good result hopefully.

I made my own seats for my 40 , but when gt40 builders in Scandinavia observed this I ended up with a lot of seats. It is good to be able to help some of the mono builders, since I had the drawing and tools. But it is time consuming to make them. So I go back to the car work.

Started the next step , painting. I leave this to the people that know how. Even if I sanded for long time they said not good enough. The car is in good hands.

Brune,
Which section did you start with, and if you were doing it again would you start there.

I have been going through this in my head trying to work out which assembly gets done first.

At the moment I have started on 2049, but I'm not sure that was the best choice.
