Stephen, you may be right! The original car (Triumph) posted may have been a different car used in the production.
Just to confuse things, the actress that plays Bunty Emer Kenny says her character drives Jags.

The latest 2018 series (that finished on BBC1 a few weeks ago) was season 6, so a lot has gone on in previous five seasons.


I still miss Nancy Carroll as Lady Felicia...

I certainly agree about Nancy Carroll. We get the series out of sequence from the original showings in the UK so Nancy is back on.
The car I originally sought to identify was the one pictured. I just assumed it was also Bunty's as that was how it was identified in Google. Apparently it was used on the show but elsewhere.
That said, the Triumph pictured is so stunning, I'm surprised they went from that to the comparatively dowdy TR 2-3.

The art deco era of auto styling also evokes a time of more elegance. Compare the "cars of the stars" from then to now...
