I've been considering a carcoon too and it seems that one of their main features is to prevent condensation by isolating your car from rapid temperature changes.

Apparently, this is what causes condensation and is what should be avoided at all costs.

Malc, reading your post about sea containers, it may be worth thermally insulating them to help with this. When I worked on a farm in my younger days they insulated the livestock buildings with polysytrene (?) tiles - if you sat on one, they kept your bum really warm.

Another benefit of carcoons is that they offer first class dust protection too. I've noticed that my car cover lets through a tiny amount of dust on to my precious paintwork!

On the other hand, carcoons are NOT cheap!
