Is it normal for the mounts to be a bit lower at the front than the rear. I am having a of trouble getting the bolts to go all the way through the stirrup. If the holes at the rear side of the stirrup line up the front side of the stirrup is a little low. It makes it look as though the front of the engine is too low, however the sump is flush with the bottom of the car so the height looks right.
I have removed the rear mount to lower the gearbox as far as I can.
May be I just need a to push a bit harder.
