No, that’s not Ruth Buzzy on the wall. You might be mistaking her for Evi Butz as she was then. Evi met Dan Gurney in the early 1960s through her position as assistant, in the Press Department, to Porsche race boss, Huschke von Hanstein. They were married in July 1969.

In my posting ‘Lola GT Mk6, the ‘Ring, Le Mans, Aerodynamics’ I name the people standing on the Porsche pit wall.
