| Looks like I\'ll have to put off my GT40 for a while
I managed to mangle a $4K part on my car Saturday night, which I absolutely have to fix. Since my deal with myself was that I'd get the kit once all of my debts were paid off, it looks like this will put off my being able to put down a deposit until at least December. This is kind of a heart breaker for me, since I was really keen to start on this soon, but sometimes I guess you have to take the good with the bad.
I'll still troll the board, though, and will likely ask for advice when I next get ready to buy a kit. This may even end up being a good thing - in 10 months hopefully the dollar will get strong again and the time lost will pay for itself by allowing me to afford a more complete kit. (Hey, wishful thinking is about all I have left at this point). |
