| GA Bill\'s car.....
Went to see Bill's car in here in GA: Beautiful! There is work to be done but the car is a part "roller" with wheels, suspension, steering, head/tail lights, marker lights in place, all lexan/glass mounted and all body panels in place with a decent paint job applied.
It has been a year now since I saw a GT40 in the flesh, and they are even more beautiful than I remembered them. Bill and I walked around the car and there is NO bad angle.
As I said from the start: The GT40 has been my all time favorite car. Seeing one up close with plenty of time to appreciate it stirs the emotions again: These are beautiful cars. The best representation of function dictates form that I know of. True art. cb |
