F40 or GT40?

Further to the info from Robert on the NZ F40 at the 'berry show, here is the NZ site: http://www.procom.co.nz/f40/index.htm

It might not be a GT40, but the car looks fantastic, and should go as good as it looks!

Re: F40 or GT40?

That looks incredible...I wonder what Ferrari will say, especially with the use of the Prancing Horse logos? I know they have not responded kindly to past replicas (i.e., McBurnie Daytonas, etc.)...

That is a phenomenal effort, no doubt about it--

Re: F40 or GT40?

Sent Steve an e-mail to start a dialog about buying the F40 instead of the Ultima. Don't know what his flexability is. I'd like a roller that takes a SBC and is LHD.
I'll keep you posted.

Re: F40 or GT40?

Steve replied to my e-mail and appears to be pretty flexible.

1. can do LHD.
2. can accomodate SBC. I'd have do some engineering.
3. roller planed for the states.
4. delivery 7 months
5. price $100k US.

I decided to go with the Can Am mainly because of price and delivery. Also Ultima has done many Can Ams all with SBC's.

I'll have to admit the F40 Replica of Steve's is a really beautiful creation.

OOOHHH...maybe next toy!!!
