CAV or RF in UK?

Apart from the CAV built for the television programme, does anyone know if there are any CAVs or RFs in the UK. There are none in UK listed in the 'How many types of GT40 represented' thread, and none on Enthusiasts club website register. Have you got one? Do you know who has one? Complete or under construction? I would like to speak to anyone in UK who has built or is building either of these, because I may be in market for buying one later this year as replacement for my current 40. If I can meet with satisfied owners that would be really helpful. If you'd rather be discreet please send me private message.

Re: CAV or RF in UK?

I believe I read in a Kit Car magazine that Ginetta are working on a CAV here in England. That's all I know.

Brian.

Re: CAV or RF in UK?

We have no cars in the UK at present but we do have one destined for Germany in the next two weeks.

I also have a lot of interest from people in the UK and would like an agent there.

I have had interest from some as an agent but we must complete the first car in Australia as I wish the RF40 to be displayed to represent MY work and also to be on display instantly.

Best wishes,

Robert

Re: CAV or RF in UK?

CAV have a UK dealer and are currently putting GT's through the UK SVA testing a requirement to be sold in the UK.

Please make contact with CAV or mail direct for the UK dealer information or go to our website for further details cav.co.za.

Re: CAV or RF in UK?

It would appear that Ginetta Cars in Sheffield are working on putting the CAV through the SVA.
