I wonder if that is also called Helicopter Tape. Seems to do the same purpose (used to protect the blades from airborne particles ie dust and salt). Maybe in the USA a rotary FBO might supply low volumes.I 'secured' a roll and gave it to friend for his new Porsche. I wonder if he still has it as he never used it!!

I have helicopter tape on my Lotus, cut to shape & stuck over vulnerable areas.

Does the job re protecting from stonechips, however it does discolour slightly, making the paint look a different colour underneath.
