There were a few inquiries in another thread about the clear film that is now being used as a paint-protectant "bra" on some cars. If you are interested in this stuff, then you may want to check out this web site:
I wonder if that is also called Helicopter Tape. Seems to do the same purpose (used to protect the blades from airborne particles ie dust and salt). Maybe in the USA a rotary FBO might supply low volumes.I 'secured' a roll and gave it to friend for his new Porsche. I wonder if he still has it as he never used it!!
