any model collectors/builders out there?
Here one example of my work. What do you all think? There was a day when diecast GT40's were non-existent and you had to build a kit if you wanted a nice replica. The kits are still affordable compared to the Exoto diecast which is very nice but I prefer the smaller scales (1/25 and 1/43) for display space reasons. I have built Mk I's and II's and a roadster and a J car among the 30 or so I have done.
I build also (though at a VERY slow rate...)I would collect also but the cost is a consideration. I do have most all of the 1/24-25th GT related kits on the "to build" shelf, YEAH- not in my lifetime!
Lots of stuff under way, VERY few ever get done....

I have a few - but I'm trying to hunt down the
Le Mans Miniatures Deluxe kit. I see one (the same
one) on eBay often, but the guy really doesn't
want to let it go for less than $120 US.

Re: More GT40 model pics Engine kit
What you have done looks nice. A guy is our club has done an engine kit in resin for the Fujimi kits. It's about $25.
I can search for some pictues of it if you're interested. It is very nicely done. Here is a pic of a work in progress.
