| Monterey Historics & Pebble Beach
The Pebble Beach Concours on Sunday will have a Class for GT40's that will comprise of seven historically significant cars. If you haven't been to Pebble Beach it is a wonderful event, although the conflict with the Monterey Historics Sunday races is an unfortunate result of a very successful weekend.
Make plans for Pebble Beach before Sunday as tickets are not available the day of the event.
The Monterey Historics will also have the following;
The BIG news is, for the first time ever, all of the surviving Ford Mk IVs will be together (chassis J-3 - J-8 ... J-1 & J-2 were destroyed in testing and never raced). This gathering has never been accomplished, even including when they were new. This will make history.
There will also be the 1-2-3 place 1966 Le Mans Ford Mk IIs.
GT40 roadster.
Chassis 1075 -- two-time LeMans winner 1968-69.
in addition to those entered into the Races.
The Pebble Beach Tour will also stop by Laguna Seca on Thursday so some of Pebble Beach GT40's may be making laps that day along with the other concours cars.
