| progress report
I've a number of kind inquiries about the progress of my GT40 project...here's a progress report of sorts. I spoke with Kerry Adams last week and he feels they will be able to deliver the completed monocoque to the USA by Christmas. I think having it painted there may delay it a bit, but not by much, hopefully. We are also trying to pull a list together of all the pieces that will need to be obtained in UK or Europe, so that they can all get a ride in the crate with the monocoque on the way over here. In addition to Kerry's shop being very helpful, my thanks to Chris and Roy who are looking for sources for various items.
Once it is here, the real work starts. I am hoping to have the car up on its wheels and rolling in 2004, maybe even running and driving into the paint booth, with the blessing. Thanks again to all for their interest.
