Looking for GT40 - How about these 2 cars?

GT 40 gurus....

Looking to get educated on the CAV:

http://www.exoticaronline.com/invent...w.php?view=145

And KVA:

http://adcache.collectorcartraderonl...4/61264354.htm

This CAV is the older frame I think. Never heard of KVA.

In considering either car, what should I be watching/looking for? What would these cars be worth?

All pointers, advice are appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Looking for GT40 - How about these 2 cars?

Both of these cars are being discussed currently on this forum.....check the recent postings "for sale"
KVA is the originator of GT40 replicas and this particular CAV is a tube frame car not to be confused with the new stainless monocoque car .
Both of these are good cars the CAV being approx 20k more than teh KVA.....but not necessarily 20k better..in my opinion ..I have worked on 4 different types of GT40 replica and as I say you can do a lot of serious upgrading for 20k and build a far superior car using the KVA as a base.
