| Best One Yet
The wife and I were out for a ride (last one of the season?) in the GT a few weeks ago. It was maybe high 30's, low 40 degree F range.
We went through a small town that has a single traffic signal. On the way out of town, speed limit about 40 mph, houses on both sides of the road, we notice a guy standing close to the road, no coat, short sleeve shirt, holding a cordless phone out at arms length so it would pick up the sound of the car as we went by. A few hundred feet up the road was another uncoated guy standing at the roadside to watch us pass. Apparently, someone had seen the car coming and phoned ahead.
It was neat and provided us with a good laugh!
The amount of attention these cars attract, sitting or moving, is nothing short of amazing. |
