Re: Autoweek GT-40

Believe it is a Cherner Classics CAV GT40 with a getrag. Here is waht I have found off of the Autoweek site:

500 Miles, Very Correct 17" Halibrands, 347cid/425hp, 5-Sp, A.C. 200mph Speedo, Wide Body, Lthr, SilvMet/Blk Stripes, Show Winner, Sacrifice: $83,900.

Hope this works...

Enjoy,

I've seen it in person. Looks very nice. Also has the round oval vents on the rear.

Then Autoweek is being less than honest in describing the car as a '1966 GT40'. It makes the asking price look (far too) reasonable.
You can go to prison in UK for doing that!
In the same search is also a 2005 Ford GT. 'Curiouser and curioser' said the White Rabbit.

"Very Correct 17" Halibrands??"

I must have missed the cars running around on 17" wheels in the sixties.
