I like the GT40 since i saw the first picture for many years, but i didn't see a real GT40 yet. It's one of my big dreams, to own such a extraordinary car.
In Germany is a GT40 GTD for sale.

Because i have absolute no knowledge about the GT40, i need support, what i have to do, to avoid bad experiences, when i buy a GT40.
Does anyone know this offered car?
I had a short telefone call with the owner. I don't know, what i should think about him, but our talk wasn't that, what i had expected. I asked him for some pictures in a e-mail, but he said, that is impossible. The few information i got, is that the car was built in 2003 and that i should visit him, to see the car. I have to drive 350km and 350km back.
What have i to ask and to look, when i see the car? What is important, what not? What is a fair price?
I was reading this forum since many month and i think, i have seen a posting by a member living in Frankfurt. The GT40 for sale is near Frankfurt. Please contact me, if you are interested to see this GT40 with me.
