Rep Power: 4 | 1967 GT40 MKIV Specs This topic seems to fit into various of your forums so I thought this would be the best place for it, apologies if it isn't.
Anyway I work for a computer games company called Eutechnyx ( www.eutechnyx.com) based in the UK and we are in the process of developing an officially licensed game for Ford and Chevrolet.
I had the pleasure of going to the Toronto Motorshow to photograph a new Ford GT (even got the thing started up) and a 1967 GT40 MKIV. Now the trip was very productive but what we are missing are the actual dimensions of the GT40 MKIV, length, width, wheelbase etc. Is there anybody out there that can either post them or point me to a website with the info? I appreciate your time and I look forward to your replies (if I et any ) |

Rep Power: 4 | Re: 1967 GT40 MKIV Specs Hi, was it your MKIV that was on show at the Toronto Motorshow last week? I see that in your sig it looks exactly like the one we photographed, which by the way was absolutely stunning sat next to the Ferrari. We ended up taking about 250 shots as reference material. Hopefully the 3D model we produce will do it justice. Its due to be up against a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport.
I really only need overall length, width, height and the wheelbase from the centres of the wheels. Oh and tyre sizes and perfromance data like 0-60, bhp, max speed etc would be cool. |

Rep Power: 4 | Re: 1967 GT40 MKIV Specs You are one lucky, lucky fellow!!! We spoke to Richard Pickering on the stand who gave us a few details on the two cars and he mentioned the two belonged to the same owner.
Many thanks for the info you have provided so far. |

Rep Power: 8 | Re: 1967 GT40 MKIV Specs I believe that Eutechnyx also created Test Drive LeMans - just a stunning and fantastically rendered game. I'm really looking forward to seeing a similarily excellent and engaging product from them that includes our favorite cars!

Rep Power: 4 | Re: 1967 GT40 MKIV Specs Many thanks for the kind words. The game we are working on should be a big step forward over LeMans graphically and gameplay wise.
We are also responsible for SRS (Street Racing Syndicate) which was out a few months ago ( www.srsgame.com) and a forthcoming game for Ford. |
