Rep Power: 4 | Does anyone make a totaly original tub ? I'm pretty new to GT40s coming as I do from the Cobra scene.
Does anyone manufacture a completely accurate and original style chassis with a steel roof?
If so, any idea how much?
Thank you in anticipation.

Rep Power: 29 | Re: Does anyone make a totaly original tub ? Paul,
There are some out there that are pretty close to dead nuts on. As I think about it though, I don't think any are for sale at this time. The Superformance monocoque is probably as close as any that may indeed be on sale sometime, but when?? (Search for other discussions on this issue.)
There is still the fact that, given enough time and money, you can get just about anything.
Regards,
Lynn |

Rep Power: 10 | Re: Does anyone make a totaly original tub ? Holman/Moody make "continuation" Mk2 GT40s, that are spot on. I think they will only sell complete cars, and they are as correct as you can get,,,,,,but (if I remember right) they cost around $700k. |

Is the figure of £21K just for the item in the photo, or is the roof included?
Thanks for the replies.

Rep Power: 10 | Re: Does anyone make a totaly original tub ? Hi Doc,
the information is slightly incorrect, yes I am involved in producing a batch of accurate monocoques, the price is not correct nor has it been set yet.
When the product is ready it will be launched, your information is premature. |
