Still working on the picture taking technology---
To suit Porsche G50--ie same bolt patern ( M10x94pcd)and there's an off the shelf CV shaft (of 18.75")that bolts straight in--pending upright offset.

Re: DRB GT40 Components

Just go to Hooters and ask one of the Hooter Girls,
of course, but wouldn't you rather get a hold of a pair of their "buttons"?

You can usually reash Peter Ransom(DRB) at around 9AM (Brisbane time) at (61) 07 3807 2480

e-mail is peter@drbsportscars.com

I recommend the phone for faster service.

Re: DRB GT40 Components

Thanks Chris, I like being called "YOUNG". Yes I can supply them but they would be much, much, more expensive than the hooter buttons you make. Plus they tend to sag and develop wrinkles with time, so one is obliged to keep updating them for a younger version. Re: DRB GT40 Components

Flatchat,

It's possible that I can use the flywheel and pilot bearing. (my first experience with 351/G50 so bear with me) I already have an adapter plate. Will your flywheel and pilot bushing work with my 12.5mm (.500") adapter plate or is this a package that should not be seperated?

Is the flywheel aluminum, what is the weight? Is it designed to have a porsche clutch wherein the ring gear is a part of the clutch assembly?

Can you explain the pilot bearing. I assume the narrow end slides into the crank up to the shoulder which leaves an extention of approx 25mm of the wide portion towards the input shaft of the transaxle. Thus the input shaft then slides into an internal bearing within the wide portion of the pilot bearing?

My concern is that my G50/52 bellhousing was reduced by one inch as well as the input shaft and then clearanced on the inside for a standard porsche flywheel. Shouldn't have a problem but I need to double check.

How much $?
