Good news/bad news

I'll post this in All GT40 - but Ron or whoever can move it
to Off Topic as they see fit.

For you NorCal guys - I am leaving Sacramento and therefore
will probably miss Howard's great get togethers. Perhaps I
will be able to make an occasional trip though.

For you SoCal guys, I am moving (back) to San Diego. I have
taken a position at UC San Diego (spent 12 years there as a
student and an employee), and look forward to meeting a bunch
of you.

Cheers,

Ian

It must be a drag missing the Sunday runs to the Mondavi winery, but deepest SoCal has its advntages ; just struggling to remember what they are !.Still awaiting any assessment of SmedingPerformance Engines

Look me up when you get to San Diego, we do a lot of events with San Diego Panteras and the local Shelby Club. Local wineries are not bad either.
While I am here is anybody in southern California taking a 40 to the Western States Cobra Bash in May?

I'll give you a hint - beaches (including one of the few nude
beaches in the US) and breweries. Also, perfect GT40 weather -
Rain? Water falls from the sky? What on earth are you talking
about?

Still trying to get the info to you. Did the Cobra guy ever
contact you? I'll see if there are any other FoMoCo guys
around - there used to be a real nice 67 fastback down the
street, but I think he's long gone.
