Ford gt40 ----Ford P68

Yes, I admit to trash every month my 5 euros in italian issue of EVO magazine /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

This month anyway there is a short remind to a strange Ford P68 I didnt know before (and considering in this period I am working 16 hours a day over wtcc cars this means I have serious problems...I wellknow /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif).

Does anybody know something more about this beauty?

Hi Paolo

A short and unsuccessful career in 1969, but a great looking car, although it probably has too narrow a cockpit for a replica road car:

I built an Airfix model of this car when I was 9 or 10 years old, but of course I still preferred the 40!

Paolo,

Beautiful car, no doubt about it. Like the '40 perfect proportions, sexy shape however Rob nailed it, she tiny. Aluminum monocoque chassis Cosworth Ford V8 and only 36" high!

Good candidate for a conituation chassis for historic racing but a little too small for the road IMHO.
